Electrical capacitors in a metal case

Capacitors are used in electric motors, fans, pumps and other types of household and industrial appliances.

The devices perform the function of storing electrical energy, which ensures the stable operation of the equipment.

A polypropylene film is used as the dielectric, and the electrodes are a thin metallized layer obtained by vacuum spraying. All this filling is enclosed in the metal case covered with self-extinguishing plastic (class V2 according to the UL-94 standard). The capacitor is insulated by edging the cover housing, which allows to achieve a tight connection. There is no risk of leakage.

The use of an insulating container between the capacitive element and the metal housing, as well as the filling of the capacitive element with resin make the capacitor safe, both from an electrical point of view (grounding, insulation) and from the point of view of vibration resistance.
